        • Flatbed tow trucks
          • Flatbed tow trucks feature a flat-topped empty bed on their rear, designed to carry vehicles on top of it. When these tow trucks need to mount a vehicle on their bed, they employ hydraulics to vertically shift the flatbed up or down.
        • Hook and Chain Trucks
          • Hook and chain tow trucks are typically used to tow junked or broken vehicles. Using the hook, the truck lifts one side of the car, leaving the other side of the vehicle’s wheels on the ground to roll down the road.
        • Wheel Lift Tow Trucks
          • Similar to hook and chain, these trucks can carry the towed vehicle with a yoke, which goes under the said vehicle’s front wheels. This method keeps the vehicle from getting damaged.
        • Integrated Tow Trucks
          • These trucks are heavy duty vehicles used to assist very large and heavy vehicles such as rigs and buses. They also possess a wheel lift and boom which is often used to tow illegally parked vehicles.
